Sassy Mitchell Hair Review – Exotic Wave

14 Feb

I am very particular about my extensions, when I do get them, so when I decided to try a new brand of hair, my search quickly landed me on Sassy Mitchell‘s website. I must say I am beyond impressed and loving Sassy Mitchell hair! Their customer service is AWESOME and I was actually able to pick it up myself since I live in the area. They also give a 10% discount per bundle if you are a student – definitely helped me a lot.

If you are looking for a quality brand of hair, Sassy Mitchell is it! I got the Eurasian Exoctic Wave hair in a 18″ and 16″ (4 oz. per bundle) and I have hair left over. The packaging includes the specifics of the hair — type, length, cost– and directions on how to maintain the hair while it is  installed.

It has been three weeks and my hair still looks like it was installed yesterday. Sassy Mitchell hair gets an A+!!!

Hi! I am considering ordering hair from Sassy Mitchell. How well has the hair held up ie frizz, shedding? Would you re-use the hair again?

Hi! I have had very minimal shedding and it’s going on 2 months that I’ve had it. I would DEFINITELY recommend this hair. It will last as long as you maintain it like you would your own hair.

Hi, I was wondering if you’re still wearing your Sassy Mitchell hair and if it’s worth the price? Also, do you experience frizz with the Exotic Wave texture. I’ve been debating between the Ocean Wave and the Exotic Wave textures?

Currently I am not wearing my Sassy Mitchell hair BUT I do still have it. I have used the same hair I bought more than a year ago for my last two installations. Depending on the type of hair you get (doesn’t matter what brand) you will always experience some frizz with the wavy/curly textures, but it’s very minimal. I use the Exotic Wave texture but all of them are nice. Hope this helps! 🙂

Waa two bundles enough hair I want to order next week. But I’m seeing mixed reviews. I want 18 and 20 in in the eurasion exotic wave. I like to straighten a lot and I don’t want it to look thin.

Two bundles is enough UNLESS you want a lot of volume then I would suggest 3. If you want it to look more natural I would stick with 2.

I must say that I was thoroughly excited to purchase my Sassy Mitchell hair. I researched and saw that the Brazilian tight curl was probably my best choice. After receiving my hair I noticed that the ends were a little coarse but I brushed it off. I brought the hair to my stylist and she highlighted it for more (the normal golden tone that I’ve dyed my other weaves in the past) and deep conditioned it. I got my hair installed and by the next day I noticed SHEDDING!!!! I mean to that point that my clothes were covered with hair whenever I brushed it or ran my fingers through it! AND WORST OF ALL IS THAT THE HAIR WAS BRITTLE AND STARTED TO TANGLE! I was soo embarrassed because I had told my friends that I was going to order some bomb weave. Long story short I had to go to another stylist and ask her to clip the brittle ends, which ended up making my 16 inches of hair 14 inches. I am VERY disappointed in the quality of this hair! I was expecting luscious, soft, and manageable hair. Instead I’m dealing with dry, tangled, and lifeless hair! Maybe its because I had a student discount and they give the bad batches of hair to people who pay less? IDK all I know is that I still paid $$$ for this hair and I really am ashamed of it! Next time I will be ordering my hair from Indique like my sister does and she loves it and has never had an experience like this with her hair, its pricier but worth it! DO NOT BUY INTO THE SASSY MITCHELL HYPE

I’m sorry that you had a bad experience :-(. And seeing as we purchased two different types of hair, that may be the reasoning for so much shedding. However, you should call them and let them know of your concerns. They are very nice ladies.

I’m considering buying the exotic wave. Are you still wearing yours?

        Hi,

I’m not at the moment (haven’t worn extensions in almost a year), but I plan to purchase from them again really soon!

Its funny how all the bloggers and Youtube guru’s all love Sassy but the comments from the everyday wearers tell a different story. For their prices it shouldn’t matter the texture or what brand product you use. If you had the hair professionally done then it shouldn’t be shedding like cheap pack hair lol. That is the main reason for purchasing “Virgin” so that we can manipulate it. Sorry about your experience and thank you for the truth.

Your experience is your experience and mine is mine. I know plenty of people who love the hair. Personally,I had a good experience, but I do not currently wear it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion…thanks for YOUR truth :-).
