Arden’s Garden 2-Day Detox REVIEW

Hello my loves!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but as we all know LIFE happens.

Anywho….I’ve been on this trip to a healthier me this year, which has been going great! I’ve changed my eating habits dramatically and even though I slip up sometimes, I’ve been consistent for the most part.

One day while surfing Instagram, I noticed that one of my friends posted a picture of a detox that she was doing  so I thought I would try it as well. It’s called the Arden’s Garden 2-Day Detox which comes from a juicing store based out of Atlanta.

[Briefly, they send you 2 Gallons of this stuff and you drink 1 gallon per day]

I was a bit skeptical about doing this detox because I LOVE to eat!  [This detox allows NO FOOD for 2 WHOLE DAYS! Crazy right!?]

I ordered the juice online (since I do not reside in Atlanta) and it was shipped to me on their next shipping date. When it arrived it was frozen so I had to let it thaw out entirely before I began. After about 2 days of  it being in the refrigerator, I decided to go ahead and get it over with.

Day 1:

OMG PULP >_<!! If there is one thing I hate in this world it is pulp, but it wasn’t too bad. The taste is very sour as it contains grapefruit juice, lemon juice, and orange juice (see full details in picture below). The first couple of hours weren’t bad ….and then it hit me! I went to the bathroom (#1) a thousand times the first day! Well not really, but you catch my drift. I was also feeling very sleepy during the first day, so I chose not to workout during this detox.

Weight loss on Day 1= 2 lbs

Day 2: 

The second and last day was better than the first because I guess my body got used to the juice. I felt more energized during Day 2, but of course, I was still going to the bathroom a lot. I was tempted to eat on multiple occasions, but I fought the temptation!

Weight loss on Day 2= 2 lbs

Overall Weight Loss= 4 lbs

The day after I was finished with the detox I thought I would want to “pig out” but surprisingly when I ate my fist meal after the detox I got full faster and just continued to space my meals throughout the day.

Overall,  I liked this detox. It is definitely something to try to get rid of all the “bad” stuff in your body and begin YOUR trip to a healthier you :-).
